Irrigation

"Keeping campus hydrated"

A relatively small crew is responsible for the irrigation of all 2,600 acres that Landscape Services takes care of. Some duties of this crew include:

maintaining drip lines (drip irrigation) and spray heads,
piping systems,
monitoring a computerized central control system,
monitoring/maintaining the weather station,
and maintaining campus fountains.
